  • Meet Lou - The Founder

    I love my Kindle. Before our son Archie was born, I’d spend hours reading with it. So during those late nights of nursing a newborn, I’d pass the time with my Kindle. But late one night, in a haze of sleeplessness, I accidentally dropped my Kindle and it landed on poor Archie’s head!

    It was upsetting for everyone. The next day my partner Ben, made a crude Kindle strap out of an old silicone mat and some staples. With this new strap attached, there was no way I could drop my device. Even if I fell asleep, the Kindle stayed in my hand. This is the day Strapsicle was born.
